its going to be a modded 95 350 lt1 a4. im going to take it to the drag strip and just cruise around in it. i will not be commuting in it.

 

What gears do you have now? How extensive are the mods going to be? Will your mods include a high stall converter? Is it a 1/4-mile or an 1/8-mile drag strip? What type and diameter tires will you be running at the track? What sort of redline will the engine have?

 

man ill answer what i can then take a stab at the gears if there off thats a little thats alright.

gona be 1/4 mile

i need a new trq converter when i do this so i dont know what stall to go with yet.

tire diameter is stock

the engine is still being built but stock redline.

engine mods are best i can give you

a)the heads are ported not heavy though

b)compression raised a little over stock

c)electric water pump

d) lt headers

e)1.6 roller rockers

f) custom cam- this will be based on the engine and the trq converter stall and rear gears.


im just looking for something close it doesnt have to be perfect im just looking to have fun with the car.

 

3.73 is an all around good gear with an A4, 4.10 with a M6

 

Cant go wrong with 3.73s.
