What do you think?

I am going to check out a 97 camaro m6 2morrow and just want to know what I should look for? The car has 85k and it has no carpet, the pass. window doesnt go up or down and the rear and front bumper need paint. Hes asking $4500.What do you guys think?

i think he is asking too much. No carpet? Have to wonder why. Sounds like it could have been a rough 85k.

check for leaks, noises from the engine

if it sounds good then just talk him down a little on the price

possibly is a flooded car, hmmmm 4500 might be too high, try kelly blue book value with all that. my 97 came with 91,000 with no major known problems for 6,400.

Too much IMO, I would chew him down more. The power window motors are a common thing to fail on these cars. Luckily they are not hard or expensive to replace. Also, a good replacement carpet is not very expensive either. Having the bumpers repainted can run some money though.
