You're not going anywhere if the tire don't hook. I'd go for the DR if I were you.

He's lucky. Anything more than 400rwhp on the stock rear end is begging for trouble.

I would probably do the gears. Then tires as the next mod.

Gears first. Then you can enjoy your car on the track and on the streets. It's a whole new car going from 2.73s to 3.73s...if you get traction.

actually, i am really thinking of putting spray back on it now. Just need a bottle heater and a few other things and that will be done.

What do u guys think in this order
Nitrous
gears
tires

i can get a stock 10 bolt w/ 3.73s with moser axles and a girdle for 200

Nitrous would definitely be the quick and easy way to get a nice power gain. That along with sticky tires though may be an issue though with the factory rear down the road.

yeah, i dont plan on spraying out of the hole, so that should help preserve the rear end for a bit. I figure if i spray 2nd and 3rd gear, it'll give me a nice boost while being gentler on the tires and the rear end. I am doing it so it only sprays while i am holding a push button

kansas.Im just not sure if it'd be worth it to go from 3.23 to 3.73? He also has a powerdyne blower, the car had a 3000 stall, the powerdyne blower, full bolt ons, gears, and drag radials so im not sure how long that rear end will hold up
