I have this which I want to put in the SS. I removed it from my other car which I'm selling next week. I just need to find a nice box to put those speakers in to which will make my set up look nice. Any suggestions on where I can get a nice box for a good price?

I've known the owner of subthump since I was a kid and I've seen his work...it is QUALITY and definately worth the $200. He got his start with Camaros/Firebirds with help from this site (I believe he is still a member) and that success has let him branch out to all other makes and models.

also to get a custom box that nice built it would cost you more than 200 and you wouldint have your car for the week it would take. also if your only spending 1000 you should figure out exactly what you want the car for and what you need to do it, the last thing you want is to blow the 1000 and then replace the piece because it is no longer any good for future mods. I know a lot of people who buy small things just to take it off and replace it because it wont work with their setup. the stereo is probably the best thing to spend money on because you should be able to complete it for around 1000 with a good looking deck (get it moulded in should cost about 200) because in my personal opinion because of the way the factory stereo is set up, aftermarket decks dont look good unless moulded into the dash. Then new Speakers and Wires (wires cost about 200 total for good ones) that would probably be the best way to spend the money.

if you want noticeable power gains you need to spend a lot more money than that
