I was wondering what kind of cars I can expect to hang with, with the following Mods:

CAI.
Long Tubes w/No cats and true duals
LE1 Heads and Cam
1.6 Comp Magnum RR's
7.200 Hardened pushrods
BBK 52mm TB
Acc 30lb Injectors
Full forged rebuild kit
150 hp shot Nitrous Oxide
3.73's
A4

I figure I will be running while on the bottle, around mid 500hp range. Am I safe to assume that? Where does that put me car wise.

 

Will I be able to take a 6 speed 04 Cobra with minor bolt ons?

 

I'm gonna say 'no', but I'm not sure what you mean by "minor bolt-on's" for the Cobra.

You can bolt a pulley, K&N CAI, and a catback onto a Cobra, and be very close to 500rwhp.. I'm not sure that your car is there yet. Might be interesting though.

I would give the advantage to you as long as you spray.

 

IM thinking with a good tune and everything running right on your setup you should be in the 400-450wrhp range


But hanging with a bolt-on cobra will be hard since they respond sooo well to very little mods


I would say if you sprayed and you were running perfect it would be a close race or he would pull you slightly

On a 150 shot you'll definitely pull the Cobra. They're heavy as hell...

 

I would say you would give it a run for its money with the 150 shot.

If those 3.73's aren't installed in a nice 12-bolt, it doesn't matter.

Well you could hang with nails... or maybe screws. Double sided tape even. I'm gonna say that as long as everythings running right, i think you'd take it by a hair or so, as long as you can drive.

 

That won't stop his header bolts from flying through the passenger-side floorpan!

 

Man I didn't realize they were that quick for me to have all of those bolt on's and still just barely take him. I should be running damn near 50 hp more than him. Maybe I should go with a 200 hp Nitrous system.
