Nittos are a good suggestion, how about some minor weight reduction (spare tire and jack), free mods (FRA would prolly help the most) and pick a cool day to race if you can.....hell on a very hot ans muggy day I went 13.4, then a few months later I went back when it was 50* and I went 12.9

What they said. Then get a converter and really pick up some time.

Isnt doing a converter a big job? I will need a tranny cooler then too right? Also wont a converter make winter driving even more tough? I was thinking nitrous.

I'd go with either a nice set of long tube headers or a stall and a shift kit. Either should give you enough grunt to hit the 12's. A tranny cooler isn't entirely necessary with a stall, but it's a good idea. And the stall won't make the car any harder to drive whether it's hot or cold outside. If you decide on the stall, definately get the shift kit to go with it to keep everything nice and firm.
