What can I do to assure that airpag won't go off in my face?
I need to take apart my steering wheel, but I'm paranoid that the airbag is going to go off in my face when I'm taking it off.
Will taking out the airbag fuse do it? or will I have to disconnect the battery as well? i want to be able to disconnect it from the car completely

Disconnect the battery and let it sit for about an hour or more if you want before you work on the airbag. When I worked on mine, I let it sit for 20 minutes and it was fine. I wouldn't work on it right after disconnecting the battery because some electricity is stored in the module for a short period of time.
