what is water/ alchohol injection .......and is there anything else besides nitrous lie propane or is that just for diesel?

 

Water, mixed with alcohol is injected to reduce combustion chamber temperature, and reduce detontation. Very popular with the Buick Turbo V6 crowd, and was "factory" on some of the very early 1960's GM turbo cars - e.g. Olds F85 turbo.

Propane is used with nitrous, to supply the required fuel, rather than adding more gasoline when you spray. There are propane/nitrous kits avialable for the C5 Corvette and the Viper. Check the "N2O Tech" forum for info.... there is a guy who posts there who has had excellent results with propane.
