Walbro Install....Doign Right Now, Quick Question

I am in the middle of my walbro install that I ordered.
From what I hear, You have to cut and splice some wires into everything.
I have a connector that plugs into the pump and plugs into the connector on the fuel pump assembly. Why do I need to splice in wires? Will this not work?
Please let me know ASAP

Joseph

YES, if it all plugs together "let it rock'. The ole "cut and splice" was before the complete kits came out.
