My dash board vent will not come right away and don't blow very hard when they do. I checked everything under the hood and it all checked out. Is there something to do in the interior of the car?

 

I had a problem similar to yours, turns out I had a small crack on my vacuum check valve for the HVAC seen here.

You may want to check that out.

 

I replaced the check valve and it appears to be working better. It will come on and start working within 30 seconds and I notice that if i change to other settings there is a air noise that you can hear that is coming from inside the dash. Must be a small leak inside the dash area. It all works but it takes time to get up to speed.

 

It's normal to hear a vacuum hiss as the mode changes.
