Turning back odometer?
Re: Turning back odometer?
$700?!?! Just to take some screws out?? WOW...I thought it was supposed to be much easier than that according to an earlier post..just some screws and some numbers
Re: Turning back odometer?
AH gotcha....on the LT1 is their any computer record of what the odometer may have read in the past?
Oh and also---just to clarify, the car is already tuned for gears, but that was after driving it off for quite some time (original owner had 4.10s in the 10 bolt for about 10k, then I drove 10k, then got tuned)...and now have a 4.11 12 bolt (essentially a mortgage payment in and of itself
)

Re: Turning back odometer?
I used to have a link to turn it back. There was some sort of formula to turning a gear on it, so that the numbers would be correctly displayed on the front. Try searching on www.yahoo.com for it, thats where I found the info.
