$700?!?! Just to take some screws out?? WOW...I thought it was supposed to be much easier than that according to an earlier post..just some screws and some numbers

Apparently some chip(s) were replaced and ..? Besides, the risk of getting caught and going to jail makes the price go up.

AH gotcha....on the LT1 is their any computer record of what the odometer may have read in the past?

Oh and also---just to clarify, the car is already tuned for gears, but that was after driving it off for quite some time (original owner had 4.10s in the 10 bolt for about 10k, then I drove 10k, then got tuned)...and now have a 4.11 12 bolt (essentially a mortgage payment in and of itself )

why dont you get it tuned for double the amount it was off the opposite way. Then drive about 10K miles and itll be all better.

I used to have a link to turn it back. There was some sort of formula to turning a gear on it, so that the numbers would be correctly displayed on the front. Try searching on www.yahoo.com for it, thats where I found the info.
