Turn signal and brake light issues

First my passanger brake light went out. Checked it, buld was fine. Replaced it anyway. Then, my drivers side blinker stopped working. BUT it wasnt the bulb. The left arrow in the instrament cluster stayed on, no flashing or clicking sound. Then the passanger blinker went out after i turned the car off and on again. Same issue, instrament cluster light (arrow) comes on, but no sound or flashing light. Havent checked the drivers side brake light, but im sure thats next. I have been reading posts saying it could be a DHP module (p/n 10407669), or it could be the flasher unit. Any suggestions?

sounds more like a turn signal switch if the brake lights don't work as well

UPDATE: here is how the lights work.

Engine on: no daytime running lights (parking lights)

Lights on. All lights on, parking lights, fog lights, rear lights, and high beams work as well.

Flashers work only in rear.

Turn signals dont work up front, and in the rears, they just stay on and dont flash.

Passanger side brake light doesnt work either.

Replace the flasher, I think it's less than $10 at any auto parts store. It's located under the steering column, I think there are 3 screws that hold up the plastic cover. That should fix the problem with your turn signal light staying on in your instrument cluster. Be sure to check all the bulbs, I had a similar problem and I thought I had checked the turn signal bulbs, but I wasn't aware that there are two bulbs for the turn signal. It seems really obvious I know but being the dumbass that I am I completely missed it. Hope this helps. Oh, check your fuses as well.

there are 2 lights for the turn signals? hmmm...

so far i have just checked the bulbs. its not the bulbs. would the flasher be responsible for the faulty brake light as well? or is that just a fluke, and maybe a bad connection?

When you remove the turn signal, there is a small bulb on the side (side marker) and a bigger bulb that is the actual turn signal. That was the one I missed. Replace the flasher and start looking for any loose connections. Check for any corrosion in the sockets for the bulbs. The flasher should fix both front and rear blinker issues assuming both bulbs and connections are good. Like I said before, be sure to check all of your bulbs. Headlights, fog lamps, and rears. I remember reading on this site that one burnt out bulb can cause other problems.

i checked all the bulbs with a voltage meter. they all work fine. here is the new update all sockets were check with a voltage meter:

engine on, lights off. No power to front day time running lights (parking lights).

lights on. power to all lights. left brake light still out.

turn signals, power (not intermitten) to rear markers. no power to front markers.

hazards on, intermitten power to rear markers. no power to front markers.

replaced tail light. brake lights now work, but thats it. still no daytime running lights, no signals up front, and no flashing signals in the rear. the rears just come on and stay on. but the hazards work in the rear. not up front. any ideas? im still leaning towards a signal module.

here is the final update: both sets of lights in each side marker were bad. whomever replaced them before me used teh wrong bulbs and it actaully melted the sockets. they used 3157's instead of 3057s. (on a side note, the light selection menu at pep boys is all messed up...all th lights are wrong, never use them!) anyway, so i had to replace 4 lights up front, as well as a break light in the rear and the flasher unit.

but a question...what would cause all 4 lights to blow at once? and after i replaced the lights, the old flasher worked, just very very slowly.
