Turn signal and brake light broblems

Alright, Last week it rained in my area alot. and i noticed that my driver side rear lens was flooded. All of the light bulbs also went bad. So i took off the lens, drained it out, found the leak and sealed it with silicone. Before i changed the bulbs i let it dry out. I replaced all of the bulbs and the brake light and turn signal still do not work. The other two work fine. Does anyone know why this is?

Re: Turn signal and brake light broblems

Are the sockets for the bulbs corroded? Usually happens depending on how much water got in and how long it was there.

Re: Turn signal and brake light broblems

I have quick question:

How do you change the front turn signal/parking light bulbs on a 2001 Z28?
I just recently got the car and one of the bulbs isn't working. I checked the manual and it's not in there.

Can someone please post how to do it step by step or post a link that shows how it's done?

Thanks.

Have you checked your fuses? You might have blown a few and that could be why your lights arent working.

As for the signal light, I would imagine it changes from under the hood...
If you just look around you could probably figure it out.

After 2 beers I figured it out.

Wasn't too bad.
