Tuning prices

I want to acquire a tune for my car, and I want it to compensate for my different cam and heads. My engine is of an impala lt1 so cams specs are different and heads are suppouse to flow a bit better. I would also like to remove the speed limiter and any performance upgrade such as knock retard desensitizing or 91 octane optimization.

Who would be able to do this?

Re: Tuning prices

MADZ28
Great prices, great service, great product. Most highly recommended tuner on this board.

I went with his e-mail tune package, simply because I have a laptop and an AKM cable so I get free updates, no downtime, and I can run diagnostics with free software as well.

Further questions can be answered by Ion or else in the Computer Diagnostics/Programming area of this board.

Re: Tuning prices

Ion is usually pretty busy so he sometimes has a hard tome responding quickly. If you have H/C on your car with other mods your best tune would come from a dyno tune. If you have a tuning place at all remotely close to you I'd go there. You will definately spend more money, but in my opinion probably get a better complete tune since it's all taylored to your car and mods, not to your mods on paper alone. But if you do go mail order. From my observations MadZ28(Ion) is the way to go.

Re: Tuning prices

Not flaming ion, But he tuned my car and got me goin till i got to the dyno, but my car ran extremly rich, and had way to much timing. I went to the dyno and gained 25 horses over his tune. Ion is excelent to to deal with tho and very professional.

Welcome to the PARTY, I sent him a e-mail about two weeks ago I think. I am not in a hurry so I am not worrying about it yet.
