torque arm mount??

torque arm mount??

hey guys...i just ordered this

since mine was shot.im seriously confused on how to install the torque arm mount.does anyone have any pics on how to mount the torque arm to the trans? i have no idea how it goes since im not the one that took it off....also any pics on how to mount/install the shifter linkage....all help is seriously appreciated.....thanks

Its a cake job.
You will have to remove the 2 bolts that connect the rear of your torque arm to the Differential housing. You will need 2 wrenches, 1 to hold the top nut while you loosen the lower nut.

Once you got the torque arm unbolted you can take that piece you ordered and attach your torque arm to it and your Transmission. All it is , is a metal piece bolted to your transmission with a rubber bushing that your torque arm slides into. And what you ordered is only the bushing piece. If thats the case and its only your bushing that is shot then you'll see how easy it is once you look at it.
Just remember you will very likely have to unbolt the back of the torque arm or at least loosen it first.

ok man i appreciate the info....im kinda looking for a visual reference ya know what i mean? so i can see what goes where. i really appreciate the help bro. i still dont what bolts go where when i comes to mounting it to the trans thats the only prob

Its really self-explanatory. Its a clam-shell bracket on the driver-side of the transmission towards the back of it.

Once you get under there it will all make sense.

You dont have to take the torque arm off the rearend. I always leave it on.

yes i know but to me a pic is worth 100000000 words...i need to know what way and what bolts etc....also how the throttle cable is mounted

Well it only goes in one way. Go to Google Images and type "Torque Arm Mount Camaro" and you will get over 13,000 results....
