Tornado, Yes or No?

I recently got an 02 Z28. The guy i bought it off of said it has a Tornadao Intake thing, i heard that these things are useless and was wondering if it is hurting anything by leaving it on. Is it affecting my air flow any. Thanks

no, no, no. The 25 is at the flywheel. Realisticly, its more like 22 at the wheels.

It's most likely not enough of a blockage to cause a leanout and hurt anything. I'd just leave it till I got a chance to pull it and sell it on Ebay.

Since you got it already on the car. Why don't you do a test to see if it really save you gas. Drive with it on, log your gas pre-tank and then take it out to see the diffrence. Keep us posted and if it didnt do crap then sell it on ebay.

There is a guy that goes by "Compstall" that did a dyno comparison for the LT1. I think the results were no help or harm on the dyno and no change in MPG during a month test. Results may vary for engines other than the LT1.
