Tires: Yoko AVS ES100 vs Kuhmo Ecsta Supra 712
Tires: Yoko AVS ES100 vs Kuhmo Ecsta Supra 712
Both of these are cheap... similarly priced. They both have tread patterns that look more designed for dry traction, especially the Yokos look like they'd put alot of rubber on the ground. Both also have a 280 treadwear as opposed to the 400 treadwear of my BFG KDWS tires
. Since they are lower treadwear, I assume they must be softer/stickier. Of these two, which do you guys like?
Thanks for comments,
Drew

I put the Yoko's on my T/A just before summer ended. I'm happy with them so far although I have only put about 500 miles on them. They were a lot better than my bald @$$ Eagle F1s.
For the price, you almost can't go wrong.

The Kumho's are a great high-mileage Z-rated tire, but aren't the best out there for traction. But who cares, I got Drag Radials on an extra set of stock wheels for that.
