The 52tb was not compatible w/the cover and in the year it was off ,the cover kept the throttle spring cleaner ,but i want to reinstall it, so thanks for the reply.

Pretty straight forward, the cover has 2 posts on the bottom that fit into 2 holes in the intake manifold. On the top there's a small bracket that mounts to the TB top driver's side bolt that clips onto the cover and finally there's a small screw that that holds the top of the cover.

Thanks for the reply. It looks like you hook linkage up first and then the cover.

True, link first, then cover. The link should be the same hook-up as your current larger TB.

Again thanks for the reply and the install went smoothly and i opened the throttle manually and pushed the gas pedal down and every thing seems to be working properly.BTW the spring of the factory tb is much lighter than the stupid tighter feel of the BBK 52TB which has caused me all kinds of grief, drivability issues, etc! IT,s going to feel good to be able to enjoy driving again lol

I've had a BBK 52mm TB on my car for 100,000 miles and can't complain. I got one of the very first units so I don't know if quality went downhill later. The only issue I ever had was the rpms hanging after I cleaned the TB with 20K miles of use. I dabbed a little oil on the butterfly rod where it enters the TB housing and the rpm hang went away.
