What do u think about them?
Did they cut anything off your 60 foot times?
And how long do they last? (How many passes, or miles on the street).

Great on the street - if the weather was above 70 degrees.

You could floor it off the line & go, go , go !

Track - I am an amateur , and never could get really good launches.

Of course, I was not going ape shiot w/ the burnouts, either.

Mileage on the street - well, I had them too highly inflated @ 30 PSI and the centers were worn out by 8K.


I'd suggest around 26 PSI , and figure on a 16K lifetime.

I have Kumhos on the SS now - great tire IMHO for the price.

I have Nitto 555R's. These are my second set. I don't do burnouts in order to save my clutch and rear brakes, but even with me avoiding burnouts, they dropped my 60' by over 2/10th. And as long as they have tread, they do quite well in the rain, just don't drive like a moron and you'll be OK. As for longevity, my first set lasted about 9-10K until the centers wore out because I had them overinflated at 30psi for daily driving; but I deflated them to 22psi and still drove them with the worn centers for another 5K until I got my new set and they never wore down to the belt. I was told to keep this new set around 22-25psi in order to preserve the centers, so far so good.

 

My 315's cant hold my car

 

Theyre plenty good on a stock car. Once you get a few mods though they suck. And under 70 degrees theyre horrible traction wise. Rain though as long as you dont whack it youll be fine. If your doing heavy mods then I recomend BFG drags.

 

They do great at the track, and had no problem on the rain so far..

 

I liked my Nittos they brought my 60 foot time down a tenth or two. Helped me get more consistant with my launches. Mine lasted about 10k but I did some healthy burn-outs at the track.

 

I usually get 14k miles out of mine. This is with some burnouts but not many. They don't hook at all for me, but I should be at 400rwhp and have a 3000 stall and 3.73's.

 

Can't get mine to hook either. No change on my 60 foot times, but still dropped the 1/4 by 2/10s. Less spinning further down the track.
