yeah...so what did I save by not re-installing my under carpet sound deadening insulation? 6 or maybe 7 pounds?! what did I gain? ONE HUGE HEAD-ACHE AND BURNED PASSENGERS' FEET! my car is so loud now that it has become less fun to drive, I wish I had put it back in. If you really want to lose 7 pounds, put yourself on a diet......

i thought all the sound deadening was a lot more than 6 or 7 lbs.
me myself, im not that fat, and a diet isnt going to do much to my already low body fat

Damn I bet that is loud just as it is, my brother had a set-up like that on his LT1 Z and he still had the sound deadening in his car and it was way too loud, it was awful really. That kind of exhaust set-up would give me a migraine without sound deadening!

i have longtubes, ory, and a rumbler cat back. my exhaust, while not as loud as a dumped setup certianly is not quiet. i took out the headliner, carpet, AND deadener, and while it is certainly louder i dont even think it made that much of a difference.
