Is there an easy way to remove old gasket from throttle body?
Is there an easy way to remove old gasket from throttle body?
I managed to get most of it off with an old credit card that has been sharpened but there is still a couple of pieces that wont budge. I have been spraying it with permatex gasket remover but it doesn't seem to be doing much. Is there something I can soak it in to remove it? What do the guys in shops who are on the clock do?

I used a scrubber brush and orange cleaner. In the shop I would use a adheasive removal wheel on a diag grinder. Then throw em into a parts cleaner. There where dudes who would tank carbs/tbs then media blast em but I found that after the media you where lucky to get them to seal for long.
