tail pipe expanders...DIY
looking to possibly pick up a pipe expander to use for building my true duals.
has anyone used one of these (or similar)? how well do they work.
this will be on 3" pipe.

Just make sure you have something secure to hold the other end of the pipe, because they are really hard to turn. I used a rented one from autozone BTW.
And I ended up going to a local muffler place to get it expanded for free

From my experience I always thought they would only return them to their origional size, not expand them larger. For example they would get rid of the clamp marks. I could be wrong, but from personal experience that is what I discovered.
