T-TOP broke

SO when I turn the T-top handle, it does not come off. The handle is easy to turn, its almost like the gears inside it are stripped. Can I get the cover off and see what is wrong?

Yea, but the screws are at both ends of the t-tops, right? I have to have the T-top off to get to the screws. That is my problem, the t-top wont come off.

Yeah, but maybe you can just find the plastic cover from somewhere.

I just got back from USMC training and had forgot all about this problem, I still have it. Will the handle just pop right off?
