Swap on Non Comp Controled Carb & Dist What do I do with ECM?
Hi, I am taking off the Elec Controlled Q Jet and Dist, Putting on a 650 DP and a MSD Dist what do I do with the ECM? Is it controlling anything at this point? Can it hurt Perf and Mileage?

Don't know about the 86, but in 84 it just controlled the carb. and dist. I removed both the PCM and it's associated wiring.

What about the fan and the Gauges? I only have put about 1,000 Miles on teh car in teh last ten years, I'll manage with the gas. I'll pull the bulb.

Can I remove the sensors from the thermostat housing?
What are they for?
Does one control the Temp gauge? if so which one?
can I put it someone else?
I want to put a nicer one on there.
