Sub frame connector question.
I just got a pair of sub frame connectors and I'm looking for an installer. I thought I found one. He said he didn't do LS1's because you need to remove the bottom interior to weld them in. Any truth to this?

My local exhaust shop welded in mine. If too much heat is used, you run the risk of burning the carpet. My guy used a water bottle to cool down the welds...no issues.
