My 94 Z28 needs new tie rod ends and I've tried as much as I could to loosen the locknut with a wrench, which slipped, then some vice grips, which also slipped. Any ideas? I'm not completely sure how to remove them but I'm pretty sure from looking at it that you just unscrew the locknut and then unscrew the piece.

 

Nevermind, it took some heat and a lot of force.
