My 1995 instrument speedometer and my Scanmaster (MPH) do not agree. It appeasrs that the speedometer is ~6 MPH higher at highway speeds.

I was thinking that maybe the sppedometer needle had slipped out of position but it appears to be in the same spot when you turn the key on that it has always been in. It points to what 0 MPH would be if "0" was on the instrument overlay.

Can someone tell me where their 94, 95, 96 speedometer needle points to when the turn the key to the on position?

 

I have a 94 z28, and mine points to (if it existed) -10mph when the key is ON position. It is at the same angle as my tachometer needle but the tachometer needle is on 0RPM and the speedometer is below 0MPH at about -10MPH.
