I have two 12" subs right behind the seat. It doesn't go into that very back area, it sits directly behind the back seats. I still needed the room for my t-tops. Doesn't have any rear view mirror problems or anything. If you want I could send you pictures and dimensions.

Re: Specs of "trunk space"-camaro

I don't have my numbers, but I measured the tightest point in the bottom of the hole and made the box square based on that. At the top I cut all the pieces at an angle to match the plastics on the side. For the top piece I cut a piece of mdf to fit the actuall top of the hole. My top piece is bigger than the rest of the box. Then I carpeted just the top piece so when its all in the car it looks clean and flush, when its out of the car it looks funny. I actually ended up with my space requirements being withing 5% of what was recommended for my subs.

I also have duals / hpipe / 40s. They are deep and grunty sounding. Very smooth and with the cc306 @ 7-800 rpms the lope is sweet. They make a bit of noise when you get on it. To me they sound very clean, but not as loud or aggressive as say a setup with bullits.

I sent you the email with my subs.

The 40 series definitely sounds nice. It's not over done, but definitely lets others know you're there. I can't stand bullet mufflers, I see them on every import around here and it's annoying.
