I know this is probably an easy question but I need help with the answer. My fiance' has a 2001 Z28 coupe w/Monsoon sound, he needs replacement speakers but I don't know the size. I got on crutchfield.com and checked out the audio and did a search by make/model/year but it gave me 3 sizes for the front door and 3 sizes for the rear seat side panels. the sizes were 6 3/4, 6 1/2, 5 1/4 for each......which ones are correct? I want to get him the speakers as a suprise and he knows the sizes but if I ask him he'll know. I looked in volume 3 of his service manual but with no luck. I know very little about this but I know he loves that car!!!! (I have been learning so this will just be one more piece of knowledge I can add to the file.

i just replaced my 4 speakers in my car. i put in kickers KS65, http://www.crutchfield.com/S-owE6sc0...00&I=20605KS65 ,which are 6 3/4". u can use crutchfield.com and they have a section in which u can type in a car and they will tell u the exact size u need for that car. the front two speakers fit right in w/ no problem when i did it (i'm 17 years old). the rear two, u just have to center the speaker up in the hole and drill in the back two. it doesn't take long at all and the kicker speakers sound AMAZING! Kicker all the way!
