Speaker buzzing 94 z28 bose

I have the three speaker bose system and blew the left front speak so i replaced it with a 6 1/2 inch jensen speaker which worked good for 2 months and then stoped working so i took the speaker out and noticed it was unpluged so i pluged it back in and it worked fine when the car was not running no buzzing at all....... but when i started the car up it would start buzzing very notecable and annoying at low volume and fade out as i turned it up. Tryed the other jensen speaker same one and it did the same thing so im pretty sure its not the speaker.

Weird part is the speaker will work great until the car is started. Ive had it working perfect before so i know its possible.. any help would be nice.

I believe the stock speakers get a different ohm, something like 2 ohms and the speakers I'll bet you tried are 4 ohms. I bet that's it. Try a good stock replacement speaker. I might have one if you need it. I'll have to venture into the abyss of my basement! The for sale section always has them, too.

BOSE GM speakers range from .75 ohms to 2 ohms.

You most likely fried the small BOSE amplifier. The buzzing is ignition pulses going through the stereo. A bad ground or a messed up amp will cause this.

Yeah, bose is not compatible with any other system. I just had to replace all 4 speakers because one blew. (which also requires an aftermarket head unit) because the dealer wanted $400 f#@%ing dollars for one speaker.
