I want to purchase the same Dual/Dual muffler that was included with the SLP LS1 camaros. I understand that this is a good flowing, quiet muffler.

I have been E-mailing SLP about the part numbers, and I think I may have confused them so wanted to check with everyone here.

From what I can tell and what SLP has told me, the following is true:

P/N 10754 is the SLP dual/dual muffler with welded on tips that came with SLP camaros/firehawks.

P/N 10572 is the SLP dual/dual muffler only - no tips - the same muffler that came on SLP camaros/firehawks.

my understanding is that these are different than the "aftermarket" dual/dual exhaust systems that SLP also has.

can anyone confirm any of this, or add any info?

I just want a quiet, good flowing muffler.... quieter than hooker/magnaflow/flowmaster/2otl/etc...

Re: SLP Dual/Dual exhaust
I think they are different you should find someone parting out an ls1 ss or selling their stock exhaust you could probably get it for cheap.

Re: SLP Dual/Dual exhaust
fyi, another choice for a quiet yet high performance catback or muffler is the edelbrock rpm. this was recommended to me by my local speed shop. i have sensitive ears and this doesn't bother me at all. i looked inside the muffler before it was installed and it had 3 separate straight through holes/tubes aprox 1"-1 1/4" . quiet/throaty at idle. sounds smooth/great with the hammer down. (no chrome tips with catback) i purchased those separate.
