Shorty Antenna

Im looking for like an 8 inch shorty antenna.. i cant stand that "Radio tower" antenna on my Z any more!!!!!

Anybody know who sells them...? ive checked ebay couple times, but maybe there is a store online with them...

I put a short rubber antenna on my car but it requiered using a die on the antenna base stud to make it fit the aftermarket antennas. I think I used an 8mmx1.0 or 1.25 pitch thread. PITA to do it on the car. I tried to tap out the rubber antenna base the 1st time and ruined it because there isn't enough metal in those things to tap to the size needed. Radio reception isn't as good but I mostly listen to CDs anyway.

You could always just cut the stock one to be even with the roof line. That's what I did, looks fine, costs nothing. If you want the ball on the end, you can just cut that off and JB Weld it back on. Little bit of black paint, and you save $30.00.

Thats what i plan on doing when i can get a good deal on a Trans Am power antenna.
