Selling an LS1, HELL!!!!

It's now been 3-4 weeks since I first listed my 1998 Camaro Z28 on Autotrader.com. I received "2" phone calls in a two week period and neither ended up even coming and looking at the car. I've since listed it in the local paper and have already had to lower the asking price by 5% since it didn't sell in the first two weeks. I think I've received "2" phone calls from the newspaper listing but have yet to have anyone come look at the car in person. I've spent around $75 and am getting pretty damn frustrated. What the hell am I doing wrong?? The car only has 59k miles, borla exhaust, tinted windows, slp lid, leather interior, fully loaded, t-tops. I started off asking $10,500 and lowered it to $10,000 and just called the newspaper to lower it to $9,800. Is there just no market for these cars since GM stopped making them? I'm half tempted to trade the car in to a dealership because I'm so frustrated by lack of interest in the car. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

You're in the wrong area... These suckers have been selling like hotcakes you can't even touch around here... I see one ad, call up and it's sold... Last I saw was a 98 for $6,500 and it was gone before I could breathe...

Try selling it on Ebay!!! You can place a reserve price if the auction price doesnt get to your reserve price then you maintain the car.

How does your ad read? Play up the fact that the car has only 59K miles and is in excellent shape. Put well maintained. If you are older, put driven by older man. Don't put aftermarket parts into your listing because people will assume you have ragged on the car. Play up of course the t-tops and leather. Also put whether the car has an auto or 6 speed. Are you the orginal owner? If you are, you must mention this in the ad. I'm sure you've covered these, but hopefully I've given you something to chew on.

Where I live these cars sell like hotcakes at abnormally high prices to what I read on the board. I think I could get 11k for my car with 70k miles on it.

Are you listing the mods done to the car? If so, that turns a lot of people away from the car. When I was looking my car, if it even had an aftermarket muffler, I walked. Mods = hard driving = no sale
