"security"

Ok... I seem to have some issues here......
My 96 Z28 with over 138k on it has the factory securit system...
A few weeks ago.... I started having trouble setting the alarm with the keyless entry... I would set it and 3 seconds later the alarm would sound... I would disarm/unlock it... then reset it/lock it and it was fine.
Well today, while driving it home , I was on a slightly bumpy road (but on a car with a 2" drop it feels like Im in the BAJA 500...) the security light came on. I assumed there was a problem with the system, and if I shut the vehicle off, it would not let it restart.. so I made it to my garage, and turned it off... waited a minute, then fired it back up... no problem (broooooooomm) So my questions are.. has anyone else had this dilema... if there is a problem with the security system, can I by bypass it (cause i dont care about the alarm) or should I just get an aftermarket alarm, and hope the guys at the stereo place, can fix it. Or do you think it has nothing to do with the keyless entry and it has to do with the little resistor in the ignition key????

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD>>>> SOME BODY PLEASE HELP... OR IM SELLING THIS THING....
