i have a 94 z28 and the weather stripping on the outside of the door never seals properly. you can see a gap between the metal and the window. its called the sealing strip in my helm manual and ive read that the part number is 10284222 for the right hand side...i lost the page that gave me the left hand side part number, but you get the point. ive got my whole door panel off and it looks like someone has messed with this before because there is paint chipped off where the brackets? connect...if you will. ugh...anyway, im wondering where i can buy a new one. ive put the part number in napa and jcwhitney and neither find anything. this is really irritating me becuase i keep finding paint issues that need to be taken care of. does anyone know where i can get a set of these, and for how much?

It's a GM part number. You have to get that at a dealer.
