Salvage yards?

Anyone know of any good salvage yards that will sell and ship LT1 parts? I know Hawks third gen does. But here in TN, there arent many places to buy parts. I will need to buy some accessories between now and next year.

The For Sale section of the site here is great. You see lots of cars being parted out. Check around other forums too (LS1Tech is a good one).

Ebay should have anything you need and probably be much cheaper.

Ive been to e-bay. Alot of complete engines. Im mostly looking for accessories, and maybe sensors. I bought an LT1, thats essentially a long block.

Ive also checked the classifieds here. Again, some stuff, but I think id have better luck with a salvage yard.

You'll find more F-Bodies being parted out here and other forums than you will in most Salvage yards. If you can't find a part you want, make a post requesting it or throw a line in your signature saying you are looking for "so and so parts" and I'm pretty sure you'll get some replies.

I have bought parts from "Billy Graham's Camaro Firebird" salvage before... and had good luck with them. I believe they are in Alabama.

X2 on car-part.com, best used parts locator I've ever seen. Shows interchange, distance, etc. Very resourceful.
