Reverse light switch on 96.

My 96 SS T-56 car is blowing a fuse everytime I put it in reverse. This fuse shares the B/U lights and blinkers. I checked the bulbs and they look fine. My next guess is the sensor that goes in the Tranny that senses reverse? I was told it's on the driver side of the trans but I see about 3 sensors plugged in. What should I be looking for?

The reverse light switch is on the right (passenger) side of the T56. It is about halfway down toward the front of the case. If I remember correctly it is the only thing plugged into that side.

Personally I would be looking for a shorted wire.
