Question Replacing a front oxygen sensor help

Ok, so i've replaced my front sensors several times in the past without any problems. I just got a new sensor from Jason Cromer over the weekend, but I can't get it to thread into my headers. Is it possible for the threads to be defective. It's a new honeycomb style sensor, different from my old style ones. And it almost looks like it's not threaded all the way to the end. Anyone ever have a problem like this? The old sensors thread in with no problems at all, so I know it can't be badk threads on my headers. It's frustrating going through all that, and can't even get the new sensor on.
