Hi, Just bought a 97 Z28 anniv edition, no remote, how can I tell which one to buy on e-bay? Is there a code on the car I am looking for? Thanks Phil from Corpus Christi Tx

Re: replacement remote

Go to your Chevy dealer. You need the VIN and then the code needs to be set to the remote.

Re: replacement remote

Ditto on go to the dealer. Not the cheapest answer but definitely the easiest. You could just buy one remote and have it programmed then use the part number to buy a spare off ebay and program it yourself.
