Remote

hi,

I've got a Camaro z28 from 97 and somehow I,ve managed to lose the remote for the power doors and the alarm system, and now I get in the car manually which makes a lots of noise
Is there anything I can do to get a new remote which is compatiable with the frecuency of the system I've got on the car?

Re: Remote

Sure, just get a replacement remote then program it to the car. Dealer will be glad to sell you one, but they want way too much money - I'd get a new one off ebay.

And this is LS1 related in what way?

I'm guessing you chose not to read the stickied thread titled "Read Me! Before You Start A New Thread!"

Re: Remote

No special equipment needed to reprogram, procedure is in the owners manual. Lots of people buy their car used w/o remotes, just buy one and program it themselves.
