Rear view mirror
Re: Rear view mirror
For the inside rearview take the mirror off turn it upside down so you can add a drop or two of loctight and work it into the ball socket then slide it on ,ajust and let set for awhile. I used both blue and red (stud & bearing),and the red is alittle more sticky, but they both work.
On the outside mirror, mine does this also so without pulling the door apart to remove the assembly,I took some light foam and stuffed it inside to keep it from rattling. I used just enough to keep it from really floping around, but it still moves alittle. When I get a chance to pull the mirror assembly apart I will do it the right way but for now it works, also I put the foam in a plastic (sandwich)bag to keep it dry.

I have considered asking in the past how people with really pounding subs keep their rear view mirrors from drooping after the bass hits a few times. Heck even pushing a small 300 watts, I've found a couple of songs that I just can't play because they resonate too much and make my mirror droop very quickly.
