Rear tailight electrical issues

My driver side reverse light burnt out, so I bought some 1156 replacement bulbs and was all set to install them. Took the old bulb out of the socket...which actually still looked good (filiment intact, no rattling when shaken). I then looked i the socket where you plug the bulb into, and boy was it rusted!

I am going to try to replace this but my question is what exactly this thing is CALLED? "Tailight Socket"? Is there a part number I can look up for it? thanks a lot guys.

That's pretty much what its called.

I know they have them at AutoZone, Advance, etc.
Look in the "Help" aisle, or the electrical aisle. They have quite a few misc. bulb leads - those included.

All you will have to do is cut off your old one, and use some of the blue splice connectors like this

to tie the new one on.

I think I have an old tail light Camaro harness laying around. They are all pretty much the same. If you don't have any luck, let me know, I'll chop one off for you and send it your way.

Hey thanks man! Yeah I'll do some eBaying and boneyard hunting to see what I can come up with.
