So I recently had my rear glass replaced , was hell to get but safe lite got a new one for my 95 z. So they replace it looks great , pours rain I wanna check for leaks I open the hatch an my god it will not shut. I finally get it to shut an notice the whole hatch is misaligned. Like the part that meets above where the key goes sticks over like 1/4 inch now , the seem for the window an the body more of a gap on the pass side then then drivers , but more of a gap on the window then the pass side. I tried to adjust it via the hinges an I got it to move forward an sort of tightened the gaps but still no good. Idk the hat else to do with it. I contacted safelite they said the did not touch the hinges. Could the window being glued in not center cause this? My thing is it wasn’t like this prior going in for the window, now it’s terrible an a pain to shut no matter my adjustment, an when I did adjust it an took it for a ride boom back off center. Kinda at a loss here. Also it does seem the window is a little off if you look at the black strip up By the roof. Any suggestions ?
