Rear End Problem

Okay, so recently I've noticed some problems so I took my 96 camaro into a mechanic. He told me that the rear right breaks are leaking. Along with that he also said the rear right wheel bearings need to be replaced and that the control arm is bent.

I love my car, and I love working on it. But sadly I have a severe lack of money. Therefore I'm going to attempt to spend as little as possible and do it on my own. I have a Chilton's manual.

My question is, Can anyone tell me how much I am about to spend on parts/etc. And how hard this job really is?

Thanks

is your car a v6 or v8, this would help people here to help you because it would tell us if you had disc or drum brakes on the rear

Either way, none of the items are that hard to replace. The ony one that might give you some trouble is the wheel bearing. It takes a slide hammer to remove. The seal is not hard to remove or replace. None of the brake parts are hard to rebuild if you get the kits. Learn how to do it and you won't have to pay someone to do it later.
