I have a 68 SS/RS 396 with Tick/Tock/Tach, Console Guages and a fold down rear seat. The car also has shoulder belts. I know a guy that bought a few 68 camaros when that were new or close to it. He says that they only put the shoulder belts in cars with the 375 hp 396. My car does not have the original motor, which is not a 375 hp motor. Does anyone have any info on this?

 

I had a new 68 RS with a 327/275 and a 4-speed and it had shoulder belts. I think all the Camaros had them. There is a ton of mis-information about the early Camaros. Paul
