Quick question about the shifter boots

Are the upper shifter boots the same between the 5 and 6 speeds?

No. I think the bolt pattern is the same, but the middle hole for the shifter is different.

Are you talking about the console shifter boot? I would think so.....with the exception of the shift pattern emblem. I have owned a '96 5-Speed and I'm pretty sure they are the same. I can't speak for '97 and up.

I just picked up a new boot on Ebay..... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Black...mZ310091769132) and I'm very pleased with it......looks much better than the old one(had a small hole in it). Only around $20 for it. My interior is nasty.....need to clean everything......

Thanks for trying. I guess I'll just buy a 6 speed boot and hope for the best.
If it doesn't work I'll just keep it until I feel the need to add 2 extra cylinders
