Re: Question on exhaust tips

I'm looking for a nice deep tone, my setup right now is actually no muffler so it's nice and loud but I want a deeper tone with a nice gurgle to it.

Just curious because I do not know --

does that really effect the sound that much? I knew they did, I mean...but is it that noticeable?

Re: Question on exhaust tips

Yes tips matter. They control to a degree the direction the sound flows. Up under or away from the car. The SLP tips are pricey and I tossed mine away. You might want to try Fasttoys.com, some of the dual tips they have are mild steel<will rust>. You should paint the insides. But run 80$ a pair or so. I went thro about 4 sets of tips, before I just put the stock tips and exhust back on
