I don't know if anybody knows this or not, but i was wondering if it was possible to swap a frame from 93-02 Camaro, that is not damaged, to another Camaro that the frame is damaged.

The car with the damaged frame is located in the right rear. Thanks for any responses

 

These cars don't really have frames. They have subframes. They are welded to the car. It would be possible to take one off another car but not very easily.

 

Also, keep in mind that it isnt a full frame...hence the F-Body title.

 

alright. so then it would just probably be easier to just switch out the engine and transmission to the undamaged frame car right???

 

yes. these cars are unibodies, it would not be fun to try to change anything body wise.

 

cool, alright. so then the car with the good frame i'll just put in my engine and tranny into it.

with this happening, i will then get rid of the frame damaged car, and my new car will be the one with the good frame, and so then i cannot just switch VIN numbers right??? its probably an obvious question, but i just need to make sure. thanks

 

Switching the VIN from one car to another is illegal.

 

how bad is the frame on the other car? I am looking for a damaged Z. PM if your looking to sell.

 

A B-Body is a full frame car though???
