question about this antenna

This antenna
This one has a threaded stud on the antenna. says it wont work with (1993-1994 models) anyone with a 95-02 camaro, do you have a threaded stud on the car, or is the threaded stud on the antenna?

im trying to figure this out...how hard is it to switch out the antenna base's on the car?

Re: question about this antenna

I've owned 2 95s.

The threaded stud is on the car. That antenna will not work.

yea i kno it wont work, im just trying to find out from other years what style they have cause im trying to buy one from someone who is parting out a car or something to get the correct mount. cause it says might not fit 93&94's but claims it will work on 95-02's

I know for a fact that the 94 and 95 are exactly the same, so that really makes no sense. Try looking up the part numbers and see where that gets you.

Re: question about this antenna

I just looked up the part numbers. You would not believe how many different part numbers there are for antennas. I looked at the illistrations on all counts, and noe of them show a threaded stud on the antenna mast. ALL of the show the stub as being part of the mount on the car. 97 was a transition year.

the years break down as follows:

93 - 96

97 1st design (same as 93-96)

97 2nd design (same as 98-02)

98 - 02
