Quarter panel issues
Quarter panel issues
Yet again, Buffalo was hit with crappy weather. This time the freezing rain made me lose control of my '93 and smack into a guard rail. The main damage was to the bumper, driver fender and driver quarter panel. The bumper and fender Ive done before, but I need help with finding a quarter panel (at a good price if possible), removing the old one and putting on a new one.
I was also wondering if it would be possible to bump the dent out enough to patch the rest? It is one solid about 2 inches up and down, going all the way across the quarter panel.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I was given an estimate of $2200, but that was a dealer. Thanks in advance.

You didn't specifically say, but you do know the rear quarter is steel, and so can be reworked if not to mangled. Finding a replacement shouldn't be that hard. Call your local body shops, the dealer, even some Auto Parts carry body panels.
In order to give you any idea of what might be needed we at least need pics of the damages area.
A better idea that involves a lil leg work on your part is go to local body shops and ask for a free estimate because unlike most guys here (my self included) they usually know what they are doing when it comes to body work
